This is a good brew and came out a nice, light, easy drinking beer good for hot summer days. However, vanilla taste is lacking perhaps attributed to doubling on the hops using the extra Chinook hops, or soaking the vanilla beans in JD. For next brew, recommend original recipe hop amounts and splitting/scraping vanilla beans and soaking in a less amount of vodka instead of JD. This brew won a 1st Place ribbon for Light Beer at the 2018 Gilpin County Fair!
