- Blue Star is an unfiltered American wheat beer that the brewery says was inspired by the style of the American craft beer renaissance. It's a proudly unfiltered beer that's won multiple gold medals at the World Beer Championships.
- Notes:
- Mash the grains at 154F for 60 minutes. Mash out, vorlauf, and then sparge at 170F to collect approximately 7 gallons of wort. Boil 90 minutes, adding hops at times indicated. Cool the wort to 75F, aerate the beer, and pitch your yeast. Allow the beer to cool over the next few hours to 68F, and hold at this temperature until the beer has finished fermenting, then bottle or keg.
